about me
MY PROFILE
I was born in Jogja, studied in Jogja, got married, work and have children in Jogja … maybe I will die in Jogja as well - who knows but God does… That is the aim we live, right?
I graduated from English Education of Sanata Dharma University in 1996 and my masters degree is from American Studies Program of Gadjah Mada University in 2005.
My first job was at TK Kanisius Wirobrajan in 1994-1996 as an English teacher. At the same time I also joined Wisma Bahasa as Indonesian and English teacher, my last time there was as the coordinator of English Division, I was there from 1994-1996. I continued to work in PT Kuperin and PT Smartkid in Jakarta as an English teacher in 1996-1997. I moved to Jogja to be an English lecturer in AKS Tarakanita in 1997.
I started working at Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University on 10 October 1997 as an English lecturer. I was assigned as Secretary at Pusat Bahasa from 1998 - 2006 and as the Head from February 2006 till now.
My most interesting experience is living for 6 months in Melbourne, Australia in 2001. The ultimate goal was accompanying my husband to finish his masters degree at Monash University, Clayton, but I also enjoyed attending English Course for Multicultural People at AMESH, Oakleigh and Australian Culture Course at Dixon House, Dandenong.
My hobbies are teaching, dancing, reading, and writing. I love animals and once I wanted to be a vet but I forgot to write that choice when I registered my name to UGM. I really love dogs and once had until 8 dogs at the same time. I do not have any at present.
My interests are topics about family, education, and environment. I love talking about entertainment and technology, too, but those former three are my ultimate focus.
Now I am a mother of two cute children.
